Promotion and education department

He deals with editorial and promotional activities. By organizing museum lessons, workshops, lectures and artistic events, he promotes the themes related to the Museum profile. It promotes museum activities through cooperation with the media, social organizations, schools and universities.

He develops an educational offer and organizes guided tours around museum exhibitions. He runs a chronicle of the Museum and documentation of temporary exhibitions.

The most significant events organized by the department include the European Museum Night, the European Heritage Days, the Festival of Letters and literary and art competitions, including a contest for the design of a Christmas postcard, “Magiczny czas”.

The department also organizes the training of PTTK guides.
