• PROJEKT ZNACZKA “- PLASTIC WORKSHOPS for kindergartens and grades I-III

The design workshop is preceded by a lesson about postage stamps carried out by a museum employee. During the classes we visit a philatelic exhibition, we watch original stamp designs, and printing machines. We discuss the function and importance of a postage stamp. The duration of the classes is about 60 minutes.

• “WAY OF LETTER” – FUN AT THE POST OFFICIAL WINDOW OF CLASSES I-III
During the classes, we introduce children to the “path of the letter”, that is, we discuss the next stages of the post’s work: from putting a letter to the mailbox to deliver it to the inboxes via the mailman. Participants can also send their letter in the museum’s post box. We familiarize the participants with the correct addressing of letters, parcels and postcards.

• “JOURNEY WITH LIST” – PLAYING GAME IN XXL ADJECTIVE IV-VI
The game conducted on a 4x4m board precedes the tour of these museum exhibitions, which thematically involve postal transport, epistolary art, inventions that have revolutionized the speed of delivery of parcels. The game uses props in the form of cards with tasks and hats imitating postcards headpieces. 30 people can participate in the game at the same time.

Duration of classes 60 min.

• “HISTORY OF POSTAGE” class IV-VI
We introduce children to the most interesting exhibits in the museum and the history of sending information from the earliest times to today. Participants have the opportunity to check their own knowledge later by filling out work cards.

• “FROM TAM-TAM TO MOBILE PHONE” II. Educational stage, classes IV-VI

A new core curriculum, department V. Me and my surroundings

Main goals:

the student observes and experiences according to the instructions, records its results and explains them using the correct terminology (workshops on building a string telephone)
Specific objectives:

the student acquires the ability to concentrate attention and auditory memory
the student learns the process of converting air vibrations (sounds) into electrical signals
student learns the history of telecommunications on the example of breakthrough inventions (Morsa, Juza, teletype, telephone, television)
the student explains what are addictions; understands that everyday items such as a mobile phone, computer or the Internet can have a negative impact on our health.

• “ELECTRICITY IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS”, II. Educational stage, classes VII-VIII (Electricity)

Main goals:

using physical quantities to describe known phenomena or solve simple computational tasks.

Specific objectives:

the student acquires the ability to concentrate attention and auditory memory
the student assigns the work of an electric current
pupil calculates the electric resistance value for the guide (Ohm’s law)
student learns the history of telecommunications on the example of breakthrough inventions (Morsa, Juza, teletype, telephone, radio and television)
student enriches vocabulary

• “SECRETS OF COMMUNICATION” – PLAYING GAME IN THE SIZE XXL

The game carried out on a 4x4m board is preceded by visiting these museum exhibitions, which are thematically related to teletechnical discoveries: telephone, telegraph, radio and television.

The game uses props in the form of individual colored identifiers for all players, cubes and cards with tasks. 30 people can participate in the game at the same time.

Duration of classes 60 min.

• Visiting the Museum combined with a museum field game for children and adults.

Participation in classes for school groups in the price of PLN 6 / person plus PLN 20 / group for conducting classes.

Pre-school groups pay PLN 40 / group for classes.
